Ways to Connect at ABC
Lifegroups
-
Outside of Sunday morning, Lifegroups (small groups) are the primary place we hope to form connections at Anchor Bay.
God grows seeds when we expose them to water and sunlight - and God grows souls when we expose them to scripture, prayer, and to one another. But it's gotta be consistent. If a Lifegroup is successful, you feel known there - and you have a close group of Christian friends to walk with you through whatever life brings.
A typical group meets once a week, in a home, to spend a couple hours sharing life, discussing scripture, praying together, and serving the community together.
Affinity Groups
-
Affinity Groups are centered around a shared life experience or identity (for example, Foster & Adoptive Families, BIPOC, Parent/Family Connections, or our Spanish-speaking dinner group).
These groups remain open to anyone who identifies with that community, but participation is flexible rather than a year-long commitment.
Interest Groups
-
Interest groups gather around a shared hobby or passion like nature hikes, board games, writing and acting, or other shared interests.
