Prayer & Care

Walking with one another in seasons of challenge & celebrating each other in seasons of joy.

We need one another. We need people to rally around us when we’re struggling with loss, overwhelm, grief, or growing pains. We also need people to join us in celebrating life’s wins, joys, and milestones - and even the ordinary moments in between.

Our prayer team prays through church and community prayer requests throughout the week and in-person after the services on Sundays in the back of the Sanctuary. Every second Sunday of the month, the prayer team gathers in the Parlor at 9:40am before the service to pray for the church and the world. All are welcome to come and pray!

Mealtrains

The Mealtrain strives to support those going through with life transitions (like the birth of a baby or death of a loved one) by providing meal assistance. An average of seven meals are provided which can be requested all in one week or spread out over several weeks. Contact Pastor Gene to make arrangements for yourself or another person.

Mental Health & Spiritual Direction

Pastoral Care

Our pastors are available to meet with you for one to three sessions. After this you may be referred to other resources such as a Spiritual Director, professional counselor, or our Prayer & Care Team. To make an appointment, please contact the individual pastor with whom you'd like to meet.

Request Financial Assistance

Anchor Bay Church has set up a Generosity fund to respond to needs within our community. We are able to offer assistance for short-term, acute needs for church members or those in close relationship with our community.

Please fill out this form to request help from this fund for you or someone you know. A member of our staff will follow up with next steps. Alternatively, you can donate to the Benevolence Fund by selecting "Benevolence" from the drop-down menu. Thank you for allowing our church to serve you and be served by you!

Prayer Resources

We are all made uniquely by our Creator, so there is no one-prayer-style-fits-all way to connect with God. Instead, we have abundant permission to be creative in our prayer lives. The hope is that these resources will be a jumping off point, offering practices and language to help expand your frameworks and language around prayer.
